LARP Check: How to Catch a Fake Stake Bet Slip in Ten Seconds

Published 2026-07-09 · Tags: tracker, guides

Every $1k+ result on Stake is public, hidden players included. The LARP check searches that record by game, amount and time. What it can and can't prove.

Someone in a Discord posts a screenshot: $38,400 win on Wanted Salvation, 1,920x, "told you it was due". Forty reactions. Three people deposit.

Was it real? You can now find out in about ten seconds, and I want to explain both how and why that's possible, because the "how" is the interesting part.

Stake's feed is more complete than people assume

Stake publishes a live feed of bets. Most people know the normal feed can be filtered to hide your username. Fewer people know about the high-roller feed: any casino result paying out $1,000 or more, and any sports bet staking $1,000 or more, appears there whether or not the player is hidden. Hidden players show as "Hidden" with the game, the amount, the multiplier and the time, but the bet itself is public.

We've been logging that feed continuously for both stake.com and stake.us. Which means: if a $38,400 slot win happened on Stake, we have a record with the game, the payout, the multiplier and a timestamp accurate to the second. If we don't have it, it didn't happen.

Using the check

Open /casino/larp-check. Pick the game from the dropdown (it searches), type the payout or the multiplier (or a range if the screenshot is cropped), and set a rough time window. Hit search. You get every matching tracked result, hidden players included.

A real screenshot matches one row, with the right multiplier, within a few minutes of the claimed time. A fake screenshot matches nothing, or matches a row with a different multiplier because they edited the payout but not the multi. That second pattern is surprisingly common.

For sports there's a separate check that works the same way on bet slips: stake, odds, payout, time. Every $1k+ sports bet is tracked, singles and parlays, so a "hidden" $5k parlay slip is just as checkable as a public one.

What it can't do

It can't verify wins under $1,000. Below that line the feed only shows public players, so a hidden player's $600 win is invisible to us and to everyone else. If someone's flexing a $600 win, honestly, let them have it.

It can't tell you who. A hidden player stays hidden; we confirm the bet happened, not who placed it. If the screenshot shows a username and the feed shows "Hidden", that's not a contradiction; it just means the player hides their name.

It can't catch a real screenshot of someone else's win. If the bet exists but belonged to a different account, the check passes. That's a different kind of lie and we can't help with it.

Why we built it

Fake win screenshots are the single most effective deposit-driver in this ecosystem. They're cheap to make, they spread fast, and they work because there's never been a way to check. The whole site exists to make Stake more legible, and this is probably the most direct example: a claim that used to be unfalsifiable now takes ten seconds to test.

Use it kindly. Most people posting wins are telling the truth, and the point of the tool is to make the liars rarer, not to make everyone a suspect.
