Faucet Changes: A 3-Hour Cooldown and a $0.50 Minimum (and the Abuse That Caused Them)

Claims went from every 25 minutes to every 3 hours. Why: rings of claim-only accounts. What didn't change, and what to do if you got caught by mistake.
Two faucet changes went live yesterday and I'd rather explain them than let people guess.
Claims are every three hours now. They were every 25 minutes.
You need $0.50 banked before you can withdraw. That part was always the case, but it's now shown up front instead of surfacing as an error at the end.
Why
The faucet is free money. We pay it from our own pocket as a thank-you for using the site and, frankly, to give people a reason to come back. It was never meant to be an income.
Over the last month a growing share of claims came from accounts that exist only to claim. Same device fingerprints, same withdrawal addresses rotating across Discord accounts, claims landing within seconds of the cooldown ending around the clock. We built the admin tooling to see this (shared addresses, grinders, rings), and once you can see it, it's hard to keep paying it. The money going to rings was money not going to the people the faucet was for.
Going from 25 minutes to 3 hours cuts the maximum daily claims from 57 to 8. For a normal person who checks the site a couple of times a day, nothing changes; you were never claiming 57 times. For a script, it's an 86% pay cut, and the ROI on running one just went negative.
What didn't change
The multiplier roll is the same: most claims are 1x, some are 2x or 3x, a few are 5x, and the mega roll is still in there at one in ten million. Boost events still happen and still multiply everything. Withdrawals are still USDC on Solana and still go out on the same schedule.
The honest trade-off
Some legitimate users claimed more often than every three hours and will earn less. I'm sorry about that. We looked at the distribution and the number of real people in that group is small; the number of bots in it was not. If the ring problem goes away we'll revisit the cooldown. If it doesn't, this is where it stays.
If you think your account got caught in a ban wave by mistake, Telegram is the place; include your Discord handle and we'll look at the actual data rather than the pattern match.
